Sam Ng
HOD of SMRT Department
With a strong presence in the Marine, Construction & Mechanical fields, Sam Ng joined E-Tech Building Services Pte Ltd initially as an Assistant Project Manager in October 2020. In that role in the Project Department, he was responsible for overseeing project progress and managing overall project planning.
Currently, Sam Ng holds the position of Head of Department (HOD) in the SMRT Train Department. He has gone through the rank and file of the Marine, Construction and Mechanical industries in various capacities ranging from Supervisor (QC Division) to Project Coordinator and Project Manager with companies like Alpnie Engineering, Crete Engineering, CTR Engineering and Jian GU Engineering in the last 18 years before joining E-TECH.
To supplement his work skills and knowledge, Sam has attended various effective management & supervisory skills training, including project management for Supervisors (Ngee Ann Polytechnic/PSB Academy), Lifting Supervisors Safety Course (PSA Institute),and Work-At-Height Course for Supervisor (A.R.I.S.E.), amongst others.
In his free time, he enjoys swimming, jogging, traveling, and listening to music.
